Christmas Party

Decorating for the party guests...

I love my glass nativity set and always put it on my glass top console table,

then put white lights underneath so the light comes up from below.

Silver ornaments with silver garland, and lights coming up from beneath.

Everything turned gold in the low light.

From across the coffee table.

I also hung some tiny ornaments from underneath the coffee table.

Just seemed like a good idea at the time.

Train-ing

On the way to San Francisco for a meeting...

Right in the center of the shot below is a reflection out the opposite window of the lightrail car.

No idea how that happened.

 

Can you see (below) the reflection in the upper right corner?

That's the profile of the guy on the seat in front of me, with his earbuds in.

He looks like God brooding over the Bridge, but with tunes playing. Or maybe Books On Tape.

Trees 'N The 'Hood

The colors, they are a-changin'. I love this time of year. I keep noticing the bright shades, so I went for a stroll and caught a few of them.

Your gourd is deflating...

I really love the colors of japanese maples.

Our Mexican sage blooms in late fall for a little last surge of purple.

These leaves started up at the top of the tree reflected in the water of the gutter.

But nothing beats the shapes, reflections and action of the water.
